sick of life

I've decided that I am very sick of my life right now. We were in New Mexico this weekend with Joe's family and I wanted to do anything but come back to Utah. I am applying for new jobs dreading that I will get a new one, but hoping with everything that I have that I have that I do because I am so sick of everyone that I work with- I know that we are short staffed on nurses right now but maybe my little weenie boss needs one more nurse to quit to start shaping up. Okay, besides my job I think that everything is pretty good. James, me and Joe just got the third edition of Ethan's movie and I think that we are coming to D.C. so when we come we will have to bring it. OK, well, wish me luck at my interview today and at work tomorrow with the stupid patient who's wife thinks I am trying to kill her husband- retard.

Another typical day in maryland

Hey everybody. I don't even know if everyone reads this anymore, but instead of writing an e-mail and carbon copying it to everyone, I am doing this. Besides you can't make nifty comments on an e-mail. So, where to begin in describing my exciting life. Hmmm. I am still sick. That makes me really angry because it has been almost an entire week, and I still have a cold. Grrr. I probably don't help the matter by playing tennis and staying up late to watch the NBA finals (both of which I did last night) but oh well. I started a new class on Monday, there are actually people other than Scott Howell in the class so that is nice. Variety is the spice of life. (I actually am growing to like scott so that is good too). One of the people in the class is a Kaohsiung missionary, he was in the same zone as me in jia yi so that is fun. We told some mission stories today. The class is pretty good. I was expecting something on a little higher level though. We just translate written Chinese all day, but everyone has a laptop and we can type the translations so that is nice. Other than that, not much is going on. I will start to work with my mentor on July 22, and he just sent me an e-mail saying he has work for me to do, so I am excited about that. I really wanted to do this to give me a taste of what it would be like to work at the agency so I hope I can get a good feel for that working with my mentor. I trust that everyone has recovered from your trip back east. Liz, are you and Joe still planning on comming back here? That would be super cool if you did. I think that Susie and Ann got here today, so I will probably go to dinner with them tonight. Cat, did you start your new job yet? How do you like eight hours of scanning documents? I bet it is boatloads of fun!! Well, have fun out there in Utah, I will think of you on Sunday when it is ninety degrees and ninety percent humidity. Ugh.

wahoo

Hi Siblings,

Things are great here in the cinderblock abodes of University Village. Joe love's his calling because he gets to help people move in and out and I still like nursery except maybe whiney poo. Other than that we are just boring--we have been redecorating our little apartment- it looks cute if I do say so myself. Work is ok and school is ok and tra la la. Have a good day!

Good TImes

Well since I am the only one writing on this silly thing, I guess I will update you on recent happenings. Yesterday was a pretty super lazy day. I didn't wake up until about nine thirty, and I didn't really shower until like six. After I woke up I read for a little bit, and then my roomates woke up and we watched BBQ University on PBS. It is this cooking show that is solely dedicated to grilling and barbeque. Then around three or so three of us went to target to buy tennis rackets so we could play tennis. I ended up playing tennis for like two and a half hours after that. It was very tiring. Then I went with one of my roomates out to eat and to a movie. We saw Cinderella Man, it was very good. Today I don't really have many plans, I found a church near here that starts at one, so I will probably go to that one. The singles ward looks like it meets all the way down in DC which is a fairly long drive from here, while this other one only takes seven minutes to get to. Andrew I liked your picture, I guess we now know why Susie likes Elray so much, she wants his brains!! How is everything going with everyone else? I could read about it if you would get off your lazy bums and post something once and a while. Not that I'm bitter or anything. I guess I will see you in a week anyway. I am excited.

Long time no write

Hey everyone. How is everybody doing. Sorry I have not been very good at corresponding over the email. I am just home for my second day. Today was a long day. We had a whole day of briefing. I found out that I only get four hundred and some odd dollars for my trip here and my trip back. That made me mad because I remeber the lady specifically telling me that it would be seven hundred. Oh well, what can you do. I met some of the people that I would be working with this summer, they seemed really nice. It turns out that Elder Howell is the only other Chinese speaker in the whole program. I am not so excited about that, but I guess I will just have to make the most of it eh? I am the only one going to the location by the airport tomorrow, everyone else is going to fort meade so I will be driving by myself to work tomorrow. It should be interesting. I take a language proficiency test first thing tomorrow, I am excited to see how I do. Well, I miss you all and I will keep you posted as to how things are going.

P.S. Star Jones is fat.
