As i was browsing the web today i came across some poems that i thought would be useful to explicate before the AP exam here is one tell me your thoughts.
Driving
She drives through an endless tunnel
Full of darkness and lies
Her optimism eludes her
For she can't see the sky
Cars appear to be riding beside her
But they speed up far aheadShe can't keep up with them
And this ride she's beginning to dread
What's wrong with her car?
Is the paint job bad?
Or is it the interior
Making them leave her, making her sad
Maybe it's neither of these
Oh look! There are some trees!

that was beautiful...i think the author was getting so sad thinking about the car that toward the end she needed to focus on something positive--like trees!!
